What is StudyInOgun all about?

studyInOgun.com is a educational web portal on Ogun State, a state is South-West Nigeria. It was concieved to serve as an information source on education in Ogun State exclusively. At its core it the online catalog, a directory of educational institutions in the state. StudyInOgun is owned and operated by Real Solution Global Online Ltd. an Information Technology firm located in the state.

Are the information about schools reliable?

Information about schools are from respective schools. That is currently the only means we are aware of for the up-to-date information we require. We advice that you read our disclaimer

Why are some educational institutions not listed?

We catalogue schools in Ogun State exclusively. Our target is to have all educational institutions in Ogun state listed. Listing is free under our Basic Cataloging Service for all educational institutions (secondary schools and above) in Ogun State, South-West Nigeria. To have an omitted school listed please fill the Contact Form selecting "Apply to List an Institution" as your subject. Give details of the institution in the message box.

Why don't you have more information about some schools in your database?

Entry of detailed school information is a subscription-based service we offer to all educational institutions in Ogun State for a token under our Premium Cataloging Service. Only school that subscribes to this service have her detailed information entered in our database. If you are a representative of an educational institution in Ogun State and interested in having detailed information about your school entered into our database, please fill the Contact Form selecting "Apply to Subscribe" as your subject. Give details of the institution in the message box and we would get back to you.

How and when do you update your school data?

In a bid to have current and accurate information about schools in our database, we do not restrict the update to specific time. Updates are effected as soon as we are contacted by the school. Date of last update is indicated on individual school pages. However, since most of the information gathered are static, we do not expect updates to be frequent. If in doubt, we recommend that the respective school be contacted to verify the accuracy of the information.

Can I advertise on this site?
Yes, you can advertise on our site if you meet the following criteria.

• You offer an education-related product or service.
• You are not a school, advert by a school is limited to promotional articles amd news only.

The first step is to please fill the Contact Form selecting "Apply to Advertise" as your subject and we will get back to you.

Can I submit an Articles?
Yes, submiting articles is highly appreciated but we do not guarantee it will be published. There is however a very high likelihood that it would be published if it meet the following criteria:

• It is relevant to our target audience.
• It does not exceed 750 words.
• You must be a professional or experienced in the subject area you are writing on.
• Copyright is reliquished to studyInOgun. By implication, such articles should not have been nor be submitted for publication elsewhere.
• Article is considered to be promoting a specific school, a token would be charged as advertisment cost and communicated to you.

NOTE: StudyInOgun reserves the right not to publish any Article submitted to it without offering any explanation. We would however endevour to contact you promptly on our decision.

Can I submit a News?
Yes, submiting News is highly appreciated but we do not guarantee it will be published. There is however a very high likelihood that it would if it meet the following conditions:

• The news is considered accurate and timely?
• It does not exceed 500 words.
• Source of third party news is quoted.
• It does not promote/advertise a specific educational institution. We publish promotional News at a cost.
