The NNPC/Chevron Joint Venture, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Education Invites entries for the Art Competition for Children 2010

Theme: Nigeria: Our Land, Our Pride
(in celebration of Nigeria’s 50th independence anniversary)

Eligible participants: Students in JSS1 – SSS3 classes in Nigerian Secondary Schools

Prizes: Educational Grant to winners for the rest of their secondary education.

Syllabus (Rules and Regulations)
Specifications:

Format: Painting

Size: Not exceeding 60cm x 45cm

Colour: Free (not monochrome)

Medium: Poster, Water Colour, Oil Color or Acrylic

Please supply the following information at the back of each work:

• Full name
• Age
• Class
• School
• Title of work
• School Stamp and Principal’s Signature
• Phone number of student, art teacher and parents

General information

1. Participants are advised to comply strictly to the theme and rules of the competition
2. All works must be original and unaided
3. Entries for each school should not exceed a maximum of three works
4. ALL WORKS SUBMITTED REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF CHEVRON NIGERIA LIMITED FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL USES AND DO NOT ATTRACT ANY GRANT THEREOF AFTER THE COMPETITION
